The “American Sandwich Co.” Story

We always dreamed of opening a small restaurant in our community where we could offer good food and friendly service for an excellent value.

Perhaps you already know us from our days of owning the Quiznos in Coopersburg.  We met many people in the area while operating that restaurant,  many of whom we now consider friends.  We’re excited to announce that we’re back  (our official opening is May 18, 2009) and we’re better then ever! Now that our relationship with Quiznos is over, we are excited that we can now put you first, instead of a corporate office in some distant city.   Like many Americans, we’ve learned that some companies do not share our core American values of honesty and integrity, or are committed to giving you the very best they possibly can.  This created our dream of returning to a simpler time, when you knew your shopkeepers by name and where you were guaranteed good, fresh food at an affordable price.   We’re making that dream a reality with  American Sandwich Co.

It’s our personal small town values that we bring to making the best sandwich you’ll ever have. Everything about American Sandwich Co. is about high quality food at an excellent value.  We are proud to be a locally owned and operated business and not some humdrum chain. We believe that you deserve better.

At American Sandwich Co., we use only the finest ingredients, prepared fresh at our location.  Enjoy one of our chef-created sandwiches on our fresh-baked French baguette, a delicious entrée salad made with fresh Romaine lettuce or a great wrap bursting with flavor, all made to order and perfectly priced. We offer a variety of chips and beverages, including our freshly brewed iced tea and hot Colombian coffee. Our staff is friendly and personable. Come on in and give us a try. No matter how busy you are, we believe that you shouldn’t have to give up a dining experience for convenience and value.  We’re fast but we offer an attractive environment, whether you’re picking up a lunch to go or dining in. We’re a great place to meet friends or to dine alone, and our free Wi-Fi makes us the perfect place for a casual business lunch.
